How Bad Do You Want Success? Seriously, How Bad?
Hey Ladies & Gents,
I’m here to ask you one very important question:
HOW BAD?
How bad do you want success?
“A lot of us say we want success but we don’t want it bad enough. “
We have to be willing to give up things in order to obtain that success. Sometimes it is things we love or think we couldn’t live without. What do you think Brock from the movie, “Facing the Giants” was wanting when he was on his way across the football field with a 160 lb. man on his back? I’m sure “he wanted to rest” … The coach made certain that this didn’t happen though because the coach knew what it would take for him to succeed. Brock did not only succeed, He succeeded his expectations. He thought he was going for the 50 yard line with “doubts in his mine” about that. Luckily he was blindfolded and he made it completely across the football field into the other endzone.
Sometimes we see too much … Sometimes it would be better if we were blindfolded, simply because “in this world” we see physical limitations. Its not until we disconnect from the physical (that we ARE NOT) and become one with our soul aka mind (in which WE ARE) will we conquer and succeed!
Sometimes we all need a little encouragement and inspiration to make us get up off the fluffy couch and quit being losers.
My challenge for you Today (just for today) is no matter what you are doing, give it your all. When you feel like giving up, go a little longer, and when you feel like you can’t go a little longer, go a lot longer!
This is what separates the men from the boys and this is what separates the WINNERS from the LOSERS!
God Bless Your Success,

Curt, great inspiration from Eric Thomas – thanks so much. I want success badly too deep down, but too often I coast along on easy street thinking that it will happen some time. Not good enough is it.

Love this post. The movie Facing the Giants is a great one for us to realize that anything is possible. We just have to have faith in the things not yet seen even when the things we can see might be telling us it can’t be done. So powerful!
Thanks again for sharing this with us.
Make it a great day!
God Bless,

Great post, Curt. Success is a succession of necessary steps. As you point out so clearly, going under and struggling to come up for air is the beginning. Comparing this to a matter of life or death is a powerful message. A true guru who’s been there done that would know what really counts and, as in this case, is not afraid to demonstrate that key point. As they say… the cream rises to the top. Rise and shine, Curt!
Will keep this in the back of my head all day today, and no matter what I am doing, I will give it my all!

I just watched that show a couple weeks ago and felt like being Brock just to show the world that I could do it too!
We amaze ourselves when we put our heads down and do it. (we need a coach, though too… tell us to keep going..) It gets tough – but we all know – with that goal in mind, not even in sight… but in mind – we can achieve it!
Thanks for this, Curtis!

I was not going to work out the other day because of a slight headache, but I pushed past it, said my body needed it and did the workout. Although I still had the headache, I had a success in the bag!

I like it Curt, I like it!
You have to believe In yourself, literally. Hold that belief in the face of all types of discouraging experiences. Your vision is what’s Real. Everything else is an appearances which conforms to your vision. The novice uses the circumstances as their motivator; the genius relies on vision.
