I was going through some old papers in my filing cabinet like I need to do more often 
A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. she did not recognize them. she said “I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.”
“Is the man of the house home?” they asked.
“No”, she replied. “He’s out.”
“Then we cannot come in”, they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
“Go tell them I am home and invite them in!”
The woman went out and invited the men in.
“We do not go into a house together,” they replied.
“Why is that?” she asked.
One of the old men explained: “His name is Wealth,” he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, “He is Success, and I am Love.” Then he added, “Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home.”
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. “How nice!!” he said. “Since that is the case, let us invite wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!”
His wife disagreed. “My dear, why don’t we invite Success?”
Their daughter in law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: “Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!”
“Let us heed our daughter in law’s advice,” said the husband to his wife.
“Go out and invite Love to be our guest.”
The woman went out and asked the three old men, “Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.”
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other two also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: “I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?”
The old men replied together: “If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two would’ve stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is LOVE, there is ALSO Wealth and Success!!!”

What a great story! I “love” that! I had never read it before so it was a pleasant surprise. Happy endings are always a good thing. And it also shows that three heads are better than one in coming up with the best course of action! LOL.

Rhonda Byrne in her latest book “the Power” mentions love over and over.

Wow, I really loved this, if more people realized that if you love more, wealth and success has no choice but to follow you in every aspect of your life. People chase the success and wealth first because they think that will make them happy and as history dictates it does not!

This is a wonderful story, I’ve seen it before, but it never gets old! It is really so true and important! I’m reading the book called The Power by Rhonda Byrne, and it is completely about love being the one power about everything else in our life!! It’s a great read! I’m going to tell my children to read it when I’m finished!!

This story had a great meaning behind it. I like Old wise tales like these because they really drive a hard point to be learned from them. People back then seem to be so kind and bit more trustworthy to some extent of course. But I actually chose success over Wealth; but, I guess the moral of the story is that if you choose Love above all, then in turn the other two will surely come to pass; as it is written. Thanks for sharing if you got any more do share.

This is a lovely story. Thank you so much for sharing it with your readers. When I was younger, I would have picked wealth or success because I would have said that I already had love in my life.
As an old lady,
I would now pick love because I know that one can never have enough love in one’s life. AND the love of everyone but God is fickle, so a presence of abiding love would always be welcome.
