Its July 4th – Happy Independence Day! This brings up a lot of topics I’d like to discuss, but I’m going to stick with Business Plans as the topic. Mavis Nong, another great influential blogging leader in the Network Marketing Industry inspired me by recently writing a post about Goal Setting … and she mentioned this one thing that got my attention:
July marks the 2nd half of the year!
Since this is a fact, shouldn’t we go over our business plans and make necessary adjustments. Its almost like a new year if you think of it in terms of July 4th to July 4th. WAIT! I just had an AHA Moment! If you want to think about it that way, then EVERYDAY IS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR! AHA!
Let’s go over some of the things you should be thinking about in your head when your write your business plan down on paper (Curt Bizelli’s List) 
- What does my business offer to my fanbase/audience, clients, customers, prospects and investors? Looking over the past 6 months, How well has my business provided these things to these people and How can we improve?
- How do I define my brand and how is that “similar” as well as “different” than how other people (my audience, clients, etc.) define my brand? What do I see my brand being like in 5 years? … and How am I going to get there? Improvements? Adjustments? Fine Tweaking?
- What is my financial status? What are my assets? What are my liabilities? … for more information check out RichDad.com … furthermore, What can I do to improve my financial status? Are there expenses I can eliminate and are there investments and/or opportunities I should jump on?
Of course, there are a lot more questions you could & should ask yourself, but I think this will get you started.
