The Truth About Marshall Sylver, Professional Hypnotist, Million $ Training Network, Get Rich Radio

I feel I owe it to my followers to report on this:

I built a large downline on one of the first “get rich” programs Marshall Sylver of (MDTN) Million Dollar Training Network originally started pushing. It was called “Get Rich Radio”. The idea was that you could EARN $ money by listening to the radio since advertisers would fork out the money. You earned more when you referred others so it was “all gravy”.

At first it seemed really GOOD!

I could “set it and forget it” listening the radio on mute and racking up what APPEARED to be $ real dollars. I referred over One hundred people and my downline was going strong. I got in early and I was excited.

That’s when things ALL OF A SUDDEN CHANGED!

Things stopped working .. and Marshall Sylver, a professional HYPNOTIST, claimed he was rebranding the network and going to add some sort of “video” or “TV” (something like that).

Then it happened. I went to login and COULDN’T LOG IN!

I attempted to contact Marshall a dozen of times over the next several months. It appeared he was becoming quite successful with his new “Million Dollar Training Network” which incorporated video, but I couldn’t login as promised being an ORIGINAL GET RICH RADIO AFFILIATE! Eventually I gave up …

until just now, when I noticed the “ subdomain in my hosting cpanel. I tried it and received this:

Another REVIEW of (MDTN) Million Dollar Training Network that I ran across after doing a search I found quite interesting:

There is little information about the history of the Million Dollar Training Network that can be learned from its website. As soon as one logs onto the site, a video begins playing that gives a vague idea of what the network does. The quality of the video isn’t anything special. It uses a voiceover and moving pictures that look like stock photos. It appears to be something that anyone who has had any amount of training in editing videos on Photoshop could make.

Scrolling past the video to the bottom of the page leads you to a series of links that are common at the bottom of sites. These links are:

  • Anti Spam Policy
  • DMCA Notice
  • Compensation Disclosure
  • Earnings Disclaimer
  • Terms of Use
  • Privacy Policy
  • External Links
  • Policies & Procedures
  • Terms of Participation

This seems well and good, but the only links that actually work are Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. All the others, many of which have the exact same URL, simply bring you to a blank page that says, “Sorry, the page you are looking for could not be found.” This makes it difficult to find out any information about the company. There is a Facebook page for MDTN, but it doesn’t provide any information, only links to the homepage, and has fewer than 50 likes.

The Product

The product MDTN is offering is rather non-specific. The beginning of their initial video promises to turn your computer into a “set it and forget it cash machine,” which is a vague statement. You are also promised a “life-changing gift” that has a value of $200. By the end of the video, you are told to register for MDTN and you will be able to watch another video that will supposedly explain to you how to make money on their network. At this time you will also receive your $200 gift.

At this point in the video, the picture on screen is of a DVD called Take Action Now by Marshall Sylver. Sylver is a motivational speaker and performance hypnotist who describes himself as “the world’s fastest hypnotist.” His website offers this same DVD at the price of $199.99. The DVD promises you will learn:

  • The Three Skills to Create Anything
  • The Power of Subconscious Reprogramming
  • Irresistible Influence
  • How to Sell to Anybody Anything
  • The Fastest Way to Change Any Habit
  • PND: Psycho Neuro Duplication
  • How to Avoid the Recession

It can be presumed that this DVD is the “gift” the video mentions. It’s also possible this is actually the product MDTN is pushing.

The Opportunity

Much like the product, the opportunity promised by MDTN is vague. The video on the homepage simply mentions the ability to “earn real cash from the moment you log on,” while mentioning that there are you no requirements to buy anything. You can also earn money from those you refer to MDTN. The video ends by telling you about the possibility of making hundreds, thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that cash prizes have already been awarded. The video adds that if you don’t sign up, you can’t make anything: the hard sell indeed.

The Verdict

It’s difficult to say with certainty that MDTN is a scam, but there are reasons to be suspicious and approach any involvement with it cautiously.
