Hi y’all,

I’m coming at you with great enthusiasm. Yes, it’s a bit early still and I’m trying to wake up physically, however my heart is bouncing for joy. SEE, I reached an accomplishment within an online group (called a “tribe”) that I’m a member. It’s a genuine honor and pleasure to be among the awesome leaders, and I’m truly stoked to “do my part” in making a difference this week!

NOW, onto subject matter … How would YOU like to not only be well known across the net, but also stand out in this age of advertising overload? (I “got” that title from a book I’m reading called “Mind Capture”) NOW, I’m going to show YOU, the independent online entrepreneur how to personally brand, and how I’m going to do this is by offering you a very short list! (I read in Men’s Health last night that men “especially” love lists primarily because it gives the illusion of control. I’m sure you women will get much value out of it also. We all know that YOU can be control freaks too – j/k)

Now, we aren’t going to make this some boring old list. I feel like MIXING THINGS UP A BIT! So let’s have a little fun. This is a list of equivalencies aka formulas for success. They all lead up to ONE ultimate formula that will help YOU brand yourself as “the” online entrepreneur and stand out in the age of advertising overload!

YOU.com | What do I mean?

Passion = Niche = Knowledge & Expertise
Purpose = Calling = Ultimate Happiness & Fulfillment
Value = Prospects = Financial Gain & Tangible Riches
Name = FAME baby!

- Get creative with your personal branding! Badda Bing Badda Boom BABY!

Now, onto the analysis Dr. Freud. J/k …

PASSION (It “begins” here)

Seriously, when you have passion, all else will follow. It all begins here. It all begins with passion. You wouldn’t be doing what you’re doing unless you had some type of passion driving you. Its easy for the online entrepreneur to see this, but its also a truth in the individuals that are stuck in “the rat race”. (I.e. If you have a PASSION for helping your children, you may go to a 9 to 5 to supply them their needs even though you don’t have a direct passion for your work! As a matter of fact, you may literally despise it.) There’s absolutely nothing wrong with providing for your family, but when its all said and done, I “personally” would like to say I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE (EVEN WORKING)!!!

NICHE = KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

This is derived from your passion and also what will come later down the blog post: Purpose = Calling. This is also what will lead to your tangible knowledge and expertise in a given field of study. (It may not be at your traditional college or university BUT IT WILL BE THE BEST DAMN EDUCATION OF YOUR LIFE!!!

PURPOSE = CALLING = ULTIMATE HAPPINESS & FULFILLMENT

This is the spiritual side to your passion. “But Hey Curt! I’m not passionate about what I’ve been called to do?” … most likely you‘re not going to run into this issue, however IT CAN HAPPEN! If you’re not in line with GOD’S WILL for your life then its easy to forget who is ultimately in control (and that is God). Not YOU. Not your Mom, Not your Boss! BUT GOD! My best advice is to pray. Yes, pray to God that your passions be aligned with your given purpose. This is where your Dreams and your Destiny forge a bond that is unshakeable if you live out the calling God has placed in your heart! The Two Become One! … You’ll soon find yourself LOVING ALL THAT YOU DO!

VALUE = PROSPECTS = FINANCIAL GAIN & TANGIBLE RICHES

Instead of pitching your MLM or business to everyone you meet, try providing some value. There is so much truth in the statement, “We can get what we want if we just help enough other people get what they want”. Don’t ever forget that your ultimate purpose on this earth (this is Everybody’s United Purpose “if you may”) is to do good works for a higher power. I suggest planting seeds. NO, not in the soil, but in every heart you come into contact with on a daily basis. When you do this sort of thing and provide something “of tremendous value” to the person you’re meeting, instead of turning them away, you are forging another bong, building a relationship and gaining that person’s trust. THE REST WILL FOLLOW!

SO, We’re down to the final equation:
NAME = FAME

The truth of the matter is Not Everybody becomes famous or popular, but you CAN get people in your corner.

You CAN make a difference which will not only impact the world around you but send blessings your way that you’ve never dreamed of.

YOU CAN CREATE A “NAME” FOR YOURSELF! … It all starts with Passion!

Personal & Corporate Branding: Dont’ Let The Bozos Grind You Down!

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven’t posted on this blog in a few weeks. I’ve been tied up with other business. Nonetheless, I pray that I have something valuable for you today.

Have you ever sat back and really thought about your own personal brand. Or maybe you own a corporation and you’re working on your corporate brand. Either way, it can be a difficult task of being heard through all the noise today.

So many people are yearning to get noticed and “brand themselves” apart from their “MLM” or “network marketing” company. Whether you’re in this particular example business or not, either way, you can benefit from this post.

A “guy” named Guy Kawasaki (not to be confused with the notorious Robert Kiyosaki) has made some good points in his book, “Art of the Start”
… Note: I’ve personally yet to read this, however I hear he’s a true leader and expert in the Art of Personal Branding.
I read an article on Bnet: the go-to place for management … and that is where I received this information. Here you can read the entire post by Bnet in which they list 5 Key Personal Branding Tips. I’ve decided to focus on TWO of these FIVE below:

Polarize People. Personal branding pundits often advise against being a “jack of all trades,” or a generalist that isn’t very good at something specific. What does Guy believe? He suggests being great for some people rather than trying to please everyone. Do not be afraid to make people react strongly for or against you. As my former business partner used to remind me, you’re not doing something right unless you’re pissing someone off. That doesn’t mean be a jerk. That means just don’t try to appeal to all people, or you’ll end up a mile wide and an inch deep, mediocre to everyone.

Friends, this goes along with what many successful leaders have pointed out including Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich” and Trudeau in “25 Secrets to Wealth Creation” – - – that one shall not diversify too much. I have a little problem with this. I try to do too much. I know in my mind that I should really only be focusing on one or two things, however I’ve got so many irons in the fire that by cutting down from 100 projects to 50 projects; 50 is still a lot.

So, I suggest when starting out not to take on too much. This will help you be way more successful IN WHAT YOU DO CHOOSE TO SPECIALIZE IN and ultimately AVOID BURN-OUT! Of course if you are truly and genuinely passionate about everything you do, like I am then Burn Out is unlikely to happen. Not to say its not possible. Anything is Possible but remember to outsource aka hire other people or companies to do what you’re not as good at and you yourself focus on what you are good at and of course truly love to do. When you love what you do and are not under all of the stress from diversifying too much, you’ll be so much more successful.

JUST REMEMBER QUALITY OVER QUANTITY! Don’t wait for everything to take off. MAKE one thing take off!

Anyway, we cannot please everybody. You’ll notice you tube celebrities constantly talking of “haters” – this is a fine example – they are everywhere - you cannot get away from them.

And whether they are not getting their daily dose of hatorade or not, there is still going to be people with a different mentality mindset than you, thus going to view things completely differently.

In this article, Bnet goes on to say:

Don’t Let the Bozos Grind You Down. Not everyone is going to like you. Not everyone will always agree with you. That’s a fact of life. So don’t let criticism or doubters bring you down. As you live out your mantra, it’s your responsibility to be strong in the face of “no,” and “you can’t do that.” Guy says, ignore people who say you won’t succeed. Use negative words as motivation. Prove people wrong..

Be sure to keep your feet planted on solid ground in a firm foundation with your core values and you will surely not be offended by the mere thoughts and ideas of others.

OK, So do you know who Robert Kiyosaki is?

He's Helped A Lot of People Make A Lot of This!

If not, google him (seriously folks!) … He’s one of the world’s leading financial advisers of our time. He’s got some awesome, awesome material that I personally cannot wait to check out, including a book called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” that a lot of people know about!

I’ve only seen his videos online, and I was impressed by just that.

When Dave & Dawn Cook wrote, “I was on the phone with Robert Kiyosaki” – it grabbed my attention! I read this particular blog post and was blown away by something majorly underlining in people’s BRAINS that I’m going to share right now – with you.

And I’m going to give you a Call To Action Right Now: When you’re done reading this and viewing this post, leave a comment because I really, really, really want to hear how your family relates to what you do online (MLM, network marketing, home based business). Are they scams, etc?

THE FOLLOWING TAKEN FROM DAVE AND DAWN COOK’S BLOG ABOUT THEIR CONVERSATION WITH ROBERT KIYOSAKI:

In regards to sharing your opportunity with your family and friends, Robert also talked about the fact that even some of his family members are still stuck in the employee mindset. He said that when he returns to Hawaii to see his family, he has family members who still ask him if he’s found a job yet, and they feel sorry for him when he says “no”. (What planet do they live on?)

Quote from Robert: “If your friends don’t understand why you’re doing what you’re doing, then you need new friends”

So, Is this harsh? Hell no if you ever truly want peace and happiness in life; if you want to succeed in fulfilling your ultimate desires, as well as your calling in life. See, it takes somebody on a total other “mental level” to understand the complexity of the entrepreneur’s mind! See, a lot of us are surrounded with these Awesome, Positive, Upbeat, Enthusiastic Business Associates (who most happened to be Network Marketers) everyday; we are with them; around them (even if its just online). What we have to do is stop and try to put ourselves in the shoes of someone with a different mentality – Its what I’d like to call – “Get a Job Mentality” (like the quote says, “What planet are they on?) … I think of this and think,

“Why would I want to go back to dreading every MONDAY?”

“Looking forward to every FRIDAY just so another WEEK OF MY LIFE HAS PASSED BY” …

My friend, if you want true happiness in your life, I’ve GOTSTA GIVE YOU SOME NEWS! Its not gonna come from outside sources AND YOU are the only one that can make a change for your future. (That’s TWO very valuable insights. If you get anything out of this, Take that with you).

Here is Robert Kiyosaki’s Cash Flow Quadrant to shed some more light on the “different types of people in this world” with different mentalities.
