If you haven’t created a Facebook Fan Page yet, you’d better get on it, because you’re a little behind.

For those of you that are on top of your game, crushing it daily … here is some great tips to Grow Your “Likes” on your Facebook Fan Page by a fellow Daily Crusher: Melissa Ann Mitchell.

1) Create a page that Invites people into your Business: If you take a look at my Free Gift tab, I not only give away a free 7 Day Video Training right through my Fan Page, but I also talk about who I am as a person and business owner. I created that page to make sure I was inviting people into my business and I did that with simply adding the opt in form to give away my free training series. This is one way to build your list, connect with new clients, and truly invite people from Facebook into your business. When you are giving away something for nothing, something of very high quality that you created, people will flock to your page to grab your gift.

2) Interact: I know, everyone says this, but I really mean it. If you look at my posts on my fan page, you will see that I comment and interact on everything! Some of the posts have even turned into some lengthy conversations. And notice this as well, my comments don’t say, “Well, if you want to know the answers, buy _________ from me.” No, I actually do interact with every single person that comments on my page. It is called relationship building, and it’s those relationships that will matter in your business. Also, when you do interact… “key point here” your posts will actually show up in peoples’ news feeds. The more activity on the posts, the more they will actually be SEEN.

3) Add a YouTube Tab to your Fan Page: If you have a YouTube Channel, I would highly recommend you add a YouTube Tab to your Fan Page! It is so easy to do, just go to www.involver.com and install the YouTube tab to your Fan Page! “key point here” Once you have your Involver for YouTube installed, you can then share your videos to your Facebook friends by copying and pasting the link to the video on your fan page to your personal page. I know, what am I talking about? See this video I have on my Facebook Fan Page from YouTube?

You can take that link and paste it into your Facebook Feed on your Personal Page, or anywhere else for that matter, to bring people to your Fan Page to view your video! Wow! That is an idea to keep! They have to click “like’ to view your video if they aren’t already a Fan.

4) Add a Facebook Fan Page Plugin to your Site: Be sure to add a Facebook Fan Page Plugin on your site somewhere. If you don’t have a Facebook badge on your site, you can certainly add a Facebook Social Plugin.

5) Run a contest: If you really want to drive more fans to your page, run a contest. Offer to enter everyones’ names into a drawing for a prize once you reach a certain number of fans. For example, say that when you hit 5,000 fans, you will give away prizes! This is a very easy way to build your “likes”.

Drive COOL Traffic to Your Blog Site!

In this blog post, I’m going to show you exactly how you can get noticed by the search engines faster and ultimately drive more traffic to your blog site with The Ultimate Ping List, plus go over some of the alternative methods of driving traffic to your blog site!

Ok, so you have some content on your blog, but how do you get people to, well, arrive at your site to see it? Its so true that content is king, and you will receive natural (what’s called “organic”) search traffic NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO to optimize your posts, etc.

On the other side of the coin, there is Not One Magic Method that drives ALL of the traffic to your blog site either. The trick is to get in the zone where you’re utilizing several tools to your advantage. Here are some that I use (to start this off).

1. SEO (search engine optimization): this is really the first step; the foundation if you will; you need to make sure your posts are targeted and optimized for keywords, etc. (this is “on page” SEO). “off page” SEO is an entirely different thing all together!
2. Tribes (such as Tribe Syndication Association or Daily Crushers): these are free groups for bloggers that come together for one common purpose and that is to drive traffic and get syndications such as comments, retweets, facebook shares, diggs, etc. These are an AWESOME way to leverage the power of social buzz on the internet. You don’t only receive the direct traffic and syndications, you will also in the long term receive “more” because this perks google’s ears up when they see how popular your blog is.
3. Traffic Exchanges (these are quite controversial; good ones are ThumbVu and Sweeva; my two top favorites): I believe that these can go along way if you use them “properly” … Some people have some very valid arguments against them, but if you’re skeptical, I urge you to just grab a Free Account at ThumbVu or Sweeva and see how it really does integrate Social Media, Personal Branding, List Building and More … TEs or traffic exchanges are no longer what they used to be (when you look at “these two”).
4. Link Directories, Forums, Classifieds: Just takes time and “very little effort” … that’s why this isn’t my favorite one because of the time it consumes, however it really can be beneficial.
5. Article Marketing
6. Video Marketing
7. Email Marketing
8. Mobile Marketing (just text “cbiz” to 90210 )

With that being said, there are numerous of ways to gain traffic! Social Media is not precisely mentioned because it plays a role in All (I believe)! Here I’m going to show you another way to get the search engines to notice and crawl your blog site. This has to do with ping engines. See, when you create a blog post you have the option to ping as many sites as you want. I’ll usually just ping a couple or a few that I linked to in that blog post or another one on my blog is a good tactic also.

It has just been about two hours since we finished up The Bear Marketing System Webinar. I learned so much useful information in relation to Video Marketing, such as how to leverage your Video Marketing by using a wide range of sites. YouTube, MetaCafe, MySpace, and Break.com are among the top video upload sites that you can use to market! (just to mention a few quick “said” facts)!!! Also, Camtasia is an excellent tool for creating videos and I believe they offer a free trial. The great thing about Camtasia is the ability to record what is on your computer screen and still allow a person to see you in the corner.

(Let me go ahead and mention a simple disclaimer)
I cannot vouch for all of these sites, for they were JUST presented to me less than two hours ago, so I haven’t had the full opportunity to check all of them out just yet, …

Another thing that I learned was that Traffic Exchanges can be a “nice” asset, however don’t put all of your time & effort into them for most people are just wishing to get the same thing you are – to get there are own sites noticed and will not pay close attention to yours!

2-23-10 UPDATE: Traffic Exchanges are good for simply getting “hits” basically for the sole purpose of SEO … with the exception of a couple – CLICK HERE! Thumbvu and Sweeva are great for social branding and list building as well!!!
