In one of my previous articles on AC: The People’s Media Company, “How to be a Successful Sales Representative”, I went into great detail about certain sales strategies and tactics, however I only touched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the ultimate key of not only achieving success in marketing, but life and business in general!

Let’s discuss the Law of Attraction (or as I used to call it, “Natural Self-Hypnosis”). You can call it what you wish, but either way, there is not one optimistically driven person in the world today that would disagree with the fact that The Law of Attraction is vital to one’s success! Every entrepreneur knows it!

What do you think the meaning behind “The Little Engine That Could” is?
“I think I can, I think I can, I think I can” HAHA

The mind is a powerful weapon. It’s important to remember this, because your own mind can be a weapon against you. Think about all of the mental illnesses such as Major Depression, Bipolar, Personality Disorders, etc. – These people are getting “targeted’ by their own minds day in and day out! Same with the saying, “If you tell yourself that you’re going to fall down the stairs. You are going to fall down the stairs”. That’s an old version of the newer ones that you hear such as, “If you think you can or if you think you can’t, either way you’re right”.

How do you change this around?
Well, I’m not here to talk about mental illnesses, but I want to assure you that it is possible to overcome such an obstacle. You can achieve, overcome, and be anybody that you want to be (as long as it outlines your values). There is a higher power out there that has a divine plan and purpose for your life just like the next person, however yours is specific to your own destiny! OK, I said that the mind is a powerful weapon, and that it can be used against you. Do you want to know the good news?
With the proper cognitive behavioral and thought changes (which you can regain control of), you can use your mind as a TOOL, a powerful weapon against the bombardments of stress, illness, and even FAILURE! This is what I believe to be the basis of the Law of Attraction; positive affirmations and sort of like I said, “Self Hypnosis”. Some people describe the Law of Attraction to be some cosmic force or magical happening. I don’t see it like that at all. It’s all based on psychology, therefore Hypnosis follows the same principles. It is NOT magic, and it s NOT as mysterious as people make it out to be. Hypnosis in itself is simply feeding your relaxed mind with certain messages or “positive affirmations” (Like saying, “I‘m a good person. I can achieve what I set out to do“ over and over again to yourself. Do you think you will eventually believe it?)… It should NOT be looked at as an evil doing. It has NOTHING to do with religion, UNLESS you combine the two purposely. It has a little more to do with spirituality.

Then you ask, What is the difference between Religion and Spirituality? A lot of people have different answers, but basically for the sake of time, Religion is a connection between Man and God! … and Spirituality is a connection with YOURSELF, OTHER PEOPLE, THINGS IN YOUR LIFE, and possibly GOD (if you wish)! “We are all spiritual beings having a human experience” – - – I love that quote.

But seriously, if you were to “affirm” yourself with “positive thought” over and over, Do you think it would show in your life, your success, relationships, and health?
You’ve heard of the little girl that gets called stupid all the time by her parents and then grows up with a low self-esteem. Does it Not Work The Other Way Around? This is also why it is important for us to watch who we hang around. If your partner is negative all of the time, It’s GOING to bring you down! Sooner or later, IT WILL bring you down!

Decide in this moment, to take CONTROL of your own emotions, via thought, and you’ll be practicing The Law of Attraction … and with God … you’ll be able to manifest your dreams!
